Being a Realtor and homeowner allows me to easily relate to the dynamic range of emotions encountered by clients when selling a Home where meaningful memories have been made, or when looking for a place for anticipated new ones. 

 

I love what I do and perhaps more than any aspect of my now almost 15 years of being a Realtor, I thrive most when I get to work with people from all walks of life.  I attribute some of this to my 20 years of previously working in the banking sector.  Those years endowed me with abilities that reinforce a strong, disciplined work ethic, and offering you excellent customer service. Now, aside from being a highly trained, top producing realtor licensed since 2008, I bring other relevant designations and credentials to your home selling or buying experience.  These include holding a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, a Certification in Home Staging, an ABR [Accredited Buyer’s Representative], an SRES [Seniors Real Estate Specialist], a GRI [Graduate Realtor Institute], and CRS [Certified Residential Specialist].  In addition to my practical and efficient approach to listing your home -- or helping you search for a new one -- my goal is to relieve you of added responsibilities during such a momentous event. During your home buying or selling process, we will be aided by my assistant, Shelley Pettus, a native New Orleanian who has been a licensed realtor for 5 years. With a background in human resources and banking, she is organized, personable, and our clients adore her.

On a personal note, I love the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.  I'm a huge fan of our LSU Fighting Tigers, as well as our New Orleans Saints! And whenever possible, I take pride in sponsoring local groups and initiatives such as the St. Paul’s High School Varsity Football Games, the St. Anselm Church Bulletin, and the Three Rivers Art Festival.  To bring comfort and resources to homeless teens in our community, I volunteer with the local non-profit, One Way Love.

In closing, I was raised on the Southshore, but have lived on the Northshore for 15 years with my husband, Wally [a licensed real estate Broker]. So not only do I enjoy, but rather, I excel at working with clients on both sides of the lake in order to provide the knowledge, experience, security, and attention that your home buying and/or selling experience deserves.
